Marketing and Global Operations departments, designed, developed and
delivered a massively scalable Web hosting platform to support the
worldwide portfolio of shared hosting products. Worked with vendors to
integrate best-of-breed products for HTTP serving, load-balancing and file
sharing into a solid distributed architecture. Deployed the platform
worldwide (US, EMEA, APAC); it hosted up to 300,000 personal and 2,000
corporate Web sites.
- Involved in the development
and deployment of Branded Dial, a global “Virtual ISP” product. Focused on
the Web hosting, electronic mail and WebMail platforms, and their
integration with the customer databases.
- Lead the re-design of the
e-mail platform to make it more robust and scalable. New design uses
exclusively Open Source components to optimize costs, and is expected to
support up to 5 million mailboxes.
UUNET, now part of MCI, is one of the largest global
Internet Service Providers.

designed and implemented all the Web solutions for the agency's customers:
L'Oréal, ClubMed, Danone. Developed highly successful dynamic and
e-commerce Web sites on Unix and Windows NT, using technologies such as
IIS, Apache, WebObjects and Python. Deployed the systems in France and in
the United States.
- Consulted on various other
technology areas, such as electronic mail and security, and implemented
them.

- As an intern between January
and June 1995, designed and implemented the base ISP architecture to serve
several hundred customers in the Paris local area: network infrastructure,
dialup ports, Unix systems, Internet services, interfaces with accounting
and customer management systems.

systems architecture to accommodate several thousand additional customers,
and to extend the service nationwide. Designed and implemented the Web
hosting service for enterprise customers and dialup users. Developed Web
